The restaurant is charming and only a 5 minute walk to the Moulin Rouge. Excellent meal. The 4 of us shared the Basilica salad, a light and refreshing salad with a citrus dressing. 3 of us had the Beef Rossini, a 4 oz filet with a seared slice of fois gras and gratin Dauphinois potatoes and sauce on the side. Just delicious. We also shared the Mi-cuit chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice cream. A wonderful meal before the Moulin Rouge show at 9:00 pm. The service was excellent.
We were looking forward to returning to Le Basillic and were not disappointed. Both food and service were excellent and we love the ambiance and neighborhood.
