We had read extremely good reviews of this restaurant so were surprised by its slightly run down appearance. Having been seated for 20 minutes the manager seem surprised when we asked for some water - having been offered nothing in the interim. Our starters (onion soup and snails) were good. My coq au vin was inedible. The bird was tough and the meat more reminiscent of a ham hock. It was served, inappropriately, with tagliatelle and salad garnish. My friends fish was tasteless. To be fair to the restaurant, they did not charge for the scarcely touched coq au vin, but they need to seriously up their game.
Un lieu très chaleureux et accueillant, avec un personnel adorable et à l'écoute, et une ambiance musicale au top. Tout cela, bien sûr, avec des plats très bons et à un prix abordable.
